Installing Citrix Workspace for Windows
Overview: Citrix Workspace is required to connect to Baptist Health applications using the Application Access Gateway.

Important: These instructions are intended to be used outside of the Baptist Health network on a non-Baptist Health workstation or laptop. ​
If you are using a Baptist Health-owned device, or you are connected to a Baptist Health "virtual workstation", do not follow these steps. Instead, contact the IT Service Desk at 334-747-2793 for assistance.​​​

​1. Open a web browser and go to https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/
​
2. Under "Workspace app for Windows - Current Release", click the link to download.

3. Click Download File.

4. Accept the End-User License Agreement when prompted.

5. Open the downloaded file (installer).

6. If your computer asks whether to allow changes, click Yes.

7. In the installer, click Continue to proceed.

8. Accept the Citrix License Agreemen, then click Continue.

9. DO NOT select any additional add-ons (leave them unchecked). Click Install.

10. Please be patient. The installation may take several minutes depending on your system or internet speed.

11. Once installation is complete, you might see a prompt for a Store URL or Email Address. Skip this - just close the installer.

12. The installation is now finished. You’re ready to access Baptist Health applications via the Application Access Gateway.
