Installing Citrix Workspace for MacOS
Overview: Citrix Workspace is required to connect to Baptist Health applications using the Application Access Gateway.

Important: These instructions are intended to be used outside of the Baptist Health network on a non-Baptist Health workstation or laptop. ​
If you are using a Baptist Health-owned device, or you are connected to a Baptist Health "virtual workstation", do not follow these steps. Instead, contact the IT Service Desk at 334-747-2793 for assistance.​

Tip: The screenshots shown here are illustrative guides only. Depending on your operating system or browser version, your experience may differ slightly.

​1. Open a web browser and go to https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/
​
2. Under "Workspace app for Mac", click the link to download.

3. Ensure your macOS version is supported, then click Download File.
4. Accept the End-User License Agreement when prompted.
5. If the browser asks to allow downloads from citrix.com, click Allow.
6. Once the download finishes, locate and open CitrixWorkspaceApp.dmg.
7. In the installer window, double-click Install Citrix Workspace.pkg, then click Allow if macOS asks.
8. When the installer launches, click Continue.
9. Accept the Citrix License Agreement by clicking Continue.
10. If asked, choose the install destination (you may accept the default) and click Continue.
11. De-select "Citrix Enterprise Browser" and click Continue.
12. Click Install, then enter your macOS user password when prompted.
13. If prompted to “Add Account,” ensure the checkbox is unchecked, then click Continue.
14. After installation finishes, close the installer window.
(OPTIONAL): If prompted to move the installer Trash, select Yes.
15. Citrix Workspace installation is complete. You are now ready to use the Baptist Health Application Access Gateway to access Baptist Health applications.
